Bisaf, COVID-19 Ag Test is a rapid antigen test designed for the qualitative detection of nucleoproteins of the COVID-19 antigen in nasal swabs. It is characterized by high diagnostic specificity (100%) and sensitivity (95.11%). The medical device is suitable for symptomatic and asymptomatic patients, but its use is recommended for symptomatic patients. The antigen test provides a preliminary result and is not the sole basis for treatment or other decisions. The medical device consists of a test cassette with two zones - control (C) and for the detection of nucleoproteins of the antigen COVID-19 (T). The swab is taken from the nose using the stick included in the kit and then prepared in a test tube. The appropriate amount of sample is placed in the test box. The result of the Bisaf COVID-19 Ag test can be read after 15 minutes.

The product is intended for self-testing , but people under 15 should be tested by a caregiver, and people over 70 should ask a third party to help take a nasal swab.

Bisaf COVID-19 Ag Test effectively detects new variants of coronavirus, for example Delta, Ramda, Zeta. According to bioinformatics analysis , the medical device detects the latest variant of the Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus called Omikron.
