BLF®100 is a food supplement in powder form for oral suspension, containing milk lactoferrin (21%) and fructo-oligosaccharides (79%). It can be used in infants, children and adults. Each sachet contains 0.5 g of the preparation, which can be poured directly into the mouth or consumed after dissolving in a small amount of warm water, milk, kefir, yogurt or other liquid.

Lactoferrin is a protein (glycoprotein) from the transferrin group. It occurs naturally in many body fluids and gland secretions, including: tears, saliva, nasal mucosa, respiratory tract, and digestive tract. It is present in high concentrations in colostrum. It is also found in breast milk, which provides the newborn with nutrients and offers antibacterial protection. Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are also sometimes called oligofructose or oligofructan. They are obtained, among others: from blue agave and from fruits and vegetables such as bananas, onions, chicory root, garlic, asparagus and leeks.
