Description
Barley malt syrup is one of the thickest syrups , it is also the least sweet . Use it wherever its typical malt flavor is welcome. If you find its taste too concentrated and not very sweet, simply combine it with a neutral syrup, for example agave syrup. Barley malt syrup is also suitable for marinades and savory sauces - a great combination is this syrup with tamari or olive oil and mustard.
Barley malt syrup contains 2.5% fructose, 9% glucose and 39% maltose.
Storage
Store at a temperature of up to 20 °C.
