The CURAPOR sterile surgical wound dressing, 5 x 7 cm, from ACA Müller IADAG Pharma AG, is a ready-to-use, sterile dressing for wound care. It is suitable for covering postoperative, acute, and superficial wounds, as well as cuts and lacerations. Its specially designed structure promotes hygienic wound coverage.

Areas of application

The wound dressing is intended for the care of postoperative wounds, covering the wound surface. It can be used for acute and superficial wounds, such as after minor procedures. It is also suitable for cuts and lacerations where sterile coverage is required.

Application

Ensure the wound to be treated is cleaned and prepared according to the doctor's instructions. Before applying the dressing, remove the protective white silicone paper backing without touching the dressing itself. Position the dressing centrally over the wound and press down evenly to ensure the polyacrylate adhesive adheres well. The dressing should be changed regularly, depending on the condition of the wound and the doctor's recommendation.

Ingredients

The surgical wound dressing consists of a white non-woven polyester fabric. A polyacrylate adhesive is used. The wound pad is composed of viscose, polypropylene, and polyethylene. The wound contact layer is made of polyethylene. A white silicone paper serves as the cover.
