The use of fluoride salts replaces the loss of hydroxyapatite, a mineral found in enamel, with the formation of fluorapatite, a mineral more resistant to the attack of cariogenic acids. It also forms calcium fluoride on tooth enamel and restores minerals in areas decalcified or damaged by cavities. Thanks to the two fluoride salts, Dentosan Extrafluor provides powerful protection against cavities. Regular use of Dentosan Extrafluor strengthens tooth enamel.
