DracoFoam
Foam wound dressing

DracoFoam is a non-adherent foam dressing for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Made of pure polyurethane foam, this dressing offers excellent biocompatibility, rapid and effective exudate absorption, and high evaporation capacity, allowing for wear times of up to 7 days. Optimal wound protection and high patient comfort are ensured by the water-repellent, vapor-permeable, and germ-proof polyurethane film. The printed exudate grid simplifies the assessment of the exudate level. This highly absorbent foam dressing is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic moderately to heavily exuding wounds in the exudative and granulation phases, including superficial wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, second-degree burns, and skin donor sites. DracoFoam can also be used with compression therapy. DracoFoam is not self-adhesive and can be optimally fixed, for example, with the elastic fixation bandages DracoSumbi or DracoElfi.

Areas of application:
Pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, secondary wound healing disorders, abrasions, iatrogenic wounds, lacerations, scratches, bite wounds, lacerations, split-thickness skin grafts, second-degree burns.

Intact, not intact, fragile.

Wound stages:
Necrosis, fibrin coating.

Wound healing phases:
Exudation phase, granulation phase.

Wearing time:
Up to 7 days.
