Description
Filorin ampoules are an isotonic saline solution with hyaluronic acid for administration by inhalation.
Thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, it hydrates the nasal mucosa, reducing discomfort related to dryness or irritation. Sodium chloride 0.9% gently cleanses the nasal passages, thinning secretions and facilitating their elimination.
Recommended for daily nasal hygiene, it is useful in cases of colds, allergic and non-allergenic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis and in all cases where nasal decongestion is necessary.

How to use
Direct irrigation : Break the cap of the bottle with a twisting motion, hold your head tilted to one side (never back), gently place the nozzle of the bottle on the upper nostril and press gently to irrigate; hold your head tilted to the other side (never back) and repeat the irrigation in the other nostril. The container can be closed by turning it upside down and pressing the cap onto the mouth of the bottle.
Spray half a vial into each nostril 2-3 times daily or more often as needed or as directed by your doctor.
Inhalation therapy : Filorin vials can also be used for inhalation therapy of the upper respiratory tract. In this case, use appropriate inhalation devices to ensure correct nebulization and follow the instructions for the chosen device. Use only pneumatic devices.
Inhale one vial, 2-3 times a day or as directed by your doctor.

Keep the instructions inside the product. Use the product for inhalation therapy only on the other airways. Keep out of the reach and sight of children to avoid misuse of the product. Avoid contact with eyes. Not intended for oral administration. Not intended for injection. Using the same bottle on more than one patient may compromise its efficacy and may worsen existing problems or cause previously unexplained problems to appear. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the components of the product. Do not use if you suffer from ongoing or recent nosebleeds or if the nasal mucosa is damaged. Inhalation of saline solutions in particularly sensitive patients may cause episodes of bronchospasm: in this case, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy. Do not use after the expiration date or if the packaging is opened or damaged. The expiration date indicated refers to the product intact and properly stored. If you experience adverse reactions, discontinue use and contact a doctor. Do not use if accidentally contaminated after opening. Smoking may compromise the protective effect of hyaluronic acid. The use of this medical device does not replace other treatments prescribed by your doctor. Filorin ampoules may chemically interfere with various substances if mixed with them in the inhalation solution. Do not use Filorin ampoules simultaneously with other substances, unless your doctor expressly recommends it. In this case, carefully follow your doctor's instructions and the instructions for use of the product used in combination with Filorin ampoules. If you notice changes in the appearance of the mixture produced, discontinue treatment immediately and contact your doctor. Do not use the product in combination with quaternary ammonium compounds. Failure to properly follow the warnings and instructions for use may compromise the effectiveness of the product or aggravate existing problems, as well as cause previously unexplained problems to appear.
In some cases, the use of the product may cause a slight and transient sensation of local irritation. Hypersensitivity to the components. Prolonged use may cause sensitization. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor to establish appropriate treatment. If you experience any side effects, whether or not described in the leaflet, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Conservation
If half a dose is used, the vial should be immediately capped and stored at 2°C to 8°C (in a refrigerator) and used within 12 hours of opening. The vials should be stored in the original packaging at room temperature, protected from light and heat. Do not freeze.
