Folic Acid

A folic acid-based dietary supplement, useful for women of childbearing age who wish to have children sooner or later, for pregnant women to provide extra energy and promote maternal tissue growth, and for everyone during periods when our well-being is challenged by psychophysical stress or excessive physical or sporting activity.
Folic acid
Also known as vitamin B9, folic acid plays a key role in some fundamental metabolic processes. First and foremost, it contributes to the synthesis of amino acids, the building blocks of all proteins, essential components for the reproduction, growth, proper functioning, and repair of all cells. Furthermore, it aids hematopoiesis: the formation and maturation of all types of blood cells.
It is indicated for the prevention of some birth defects; it reduces the risk of neural tube defects and, perhaps, other congenital malformations.
It does not contain gluten.

Ingredients
Per 1 tablet: folic acid 400 µg (200% RDA*).
*RDA: Recommended Daily Allowance.

How to use
Take 1 tablet daily, preferably away from meals.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
