Fypryst Aerosol is a veterinary medicinal product in the form of a cutaneous solution intended for the comprehensive control of external parasites in dogs and cats. Its convenient spray format allows for quick and even application across the entire body, making it ideal for severe infestations or long-haired animals. Each 1 ml of solution contains:

Active substance: Fipronil 2.5 mg.

Product purpose

This product is intended for the treatment and prevention of flea, tick, and louse infestations (Trichodectes canis in dogs and Felicola subrostratus in cats). It can also be used in the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).

Product characteristics

Fypryst spray contains fipronil, an active ingredient with proven insecticidal and acaricidal properties. It targets the nervous system of parasites, leading to their elimination. The product provides long-lasting protection: it is effective against fleas for up to 3 months in dogs and up to 2 months in cats, and its effect against ticks lasts up to 1 month. The formula contains a coating ingredient that makes the coat shiny. The product is safe and can be used on puppies and kittens from two days of age.

Product use

Spray the entire body surface of the animal from a distance of approximately 10-20 cm, working against the grain until the entire coat is damp. Massage the product in until it reaches the skin. Dosage depends on the length of the coat and the size of the bottle:

• 100 ml bottle: Use 6 to 12 pump presses per 1 kg of body weight.

Apply the product to the scalp using a sprayed glove. Allow to dry naturally.

Notes and precautions

Do not use on sick or convalescing animals, or on rabbits. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not apply to damaged skin. The minimum interval between treatments is 4 weeks. Do not bathe animals 2 days before or 2 days after applying the product. Wash hands after application. Highly flammable – keep away from flames and direct sunlight. Keep treated animals away from flames and other heat sources for at least 30 minutes after treatment, until the coat is completely dry.
