Method of administration: Only for external use, by dripping on the skin. Apply topically to the skin; one pipette containing 2.68 ml (268 mg fipronil + 241.2 mg (S)-methoprene) for a dog weighing between 20 and 40 kg. This corresponds to a minimum recommended dose of 6.7 mg/kg fipronil and 6 mg/kg (S)-methoprene applied topically to the skin. Due to the lack of studies on the safety of the drug, the minimum interval between applications is 4 weeks.
Mode of administration:
- Remove the pipette from the bag. Hold the pipette vertically, twist the pipette cap and pull it off.
- Turn the pipette cap over and put the opposite end back on the pipette. Push and twist the cap to break off the pipette cap. Then remove the cap from the pipette.
- Stretch the animal's fur at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades so that you can see the skin. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin in one place.
Temporary changes in the coating (sticky/greasy lump) may be observed at the application site.
Warning: Due to the lack of data on the use of the drug, do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg. Do not use in sick animals (systemic diseases, fever) or in the course of recovery. Do not use in rabbits, adverse effects or even death may occur. The medicine is intended for dogs. Due to possible overdose, do not give to cats and ferrets. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the auxiliary substances.
Pet fleas often infest animal cages, bedding and resting areas such as carpets and household furniture. Therefore, these places should be regularly treated with a suitable insecticide and vacuumed due to mass infestation and as part of a protective measure.
