Our medium-strength exfoliant, especially suitable for combination skin, contains 6% Mandelic Acid + BHA (Salicylic Acid) , which together work to remove dead cells from both the surface of the skin and from within the pores, to minimise blackheads, eliminate marks and balance the skin.

NOTE: People who are allergic to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) should not use products containing salicylic acid (BHA/Beta-Hydroxy Acids).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Use it as a toner, either on a cotton pad or pour a few drops onto your fingertips and gently pat it into your skin, like men do after shaving. Avoid applying the product around the eyes!
You can start using Cheer Up every other night or use it twice a day, depending on your skin's tolerance. Most skin types can use it once a day.
Wait for the product to be absorbed (brush your teeth while you're at it) and follow with your favorite serum and moisturizer.

IMPORTANT: Mandelic Acid may make your skin more sensitive to the sun. We recommend using this product at night and then using a moisturizer with SPF the next morning. This product contains BHA (Salicylic Acid) . Do not use if you are allergic to aspirin.

KEY INGREDIENTS

• MANDELIC ACID: This AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) comes from bitter almonds and is known for its gentle, antibacterial properties. It not only exfoliates the skin's surface but also helps fight acne (it's especially beneficial for pustules, but also helps with inflamed nodules) as well as marks left over from past acne.
• SALICYLIC ACID (BHA): This is an oil-soluble beta-hydroxy acid (it dissolves sebum buildup in pores). It's the star product for treating blackheads and enlarged pores.
  It works inside the pores, dissolving dead cells and sebum that accumulates inside.
• SARCOSINE: It is an ingredient derived from amino acids, which helps normalize sebum production (without drying the skin, it is also known as a 5α-reductase inhibitor), reduces the size of enlarged pores and smooths the texture of the skin's surface.
• XYLITYLGLUCOSIDE + ANHYDROXYLITOL + XYLITOL: Sugar-based moisturizing trio, which increases the skin's water retention capacity and strengthens its natural protective barrier.
