Description
Hydrocortisonum Aflofarm is a medicine in the form of a cream, intended for local use. Its active substance is hydrocortisone acetate, which has anti-inflammatory, anti-itching and vasoconstrictive properties. Hydrocortisone cream is used for local treatment:
- atopic dermatitis,
- lupus erythematosus,
- erythema multiforme,
- lichen planus with severe itching,
- seborrheic dermatitis,
- various types of eczema, especially lichenoid eczema,
- psoriasis of the scalp and the elderly,
- itching,
- first and second degree burns, including sunburn,
- insect bites.
Hydrocortisone is also recommended as a continuation of treatment after treatment with strong glucocorticosteroids.
