Jelonet is a soft paraffin gauze dressing that acts as an adhesive barrier between the wound and the secondary dressing. This allows for atraumatic dressing changes for the patient. The open structure of the dressing allows wound exudate to easily drain into an absorbent secondary dressing. A special weave prevents fraying when the dressing is cut.

Due to its white paraffin coating, Jelonet acts as an adhesive barrier between the wound and the secondary dressing. This allows for gentle and virtually painless dressing changes for the patient, as well as undisturbed wound healing.
