Description
Food for special medical purposes, it is a thickening agent capable of offering pediatric patients with dysphagia the opportunity to consume any type of liquid, hot or cold, without difficulty.
The thickening mixture is based on carob seed flour and contains xanthan gum.
This innovative product quickly thickens any type of drink, preventing lumps from forming, without clouding it or altering its taste.
Whether it is water, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, liquid or semi-liquid foods, simply add the indicated amount to obtain an immediate and homogeneous result, indicated to facilitate and make swallowing safe in pediatric patients with dysphagia, reflux and in all those pathologies in which swallowing is difficult.

How to use
The density of the resulting product can be adjusted depending on the amount of powder added: one tablespoon will produce a syrup-like consistency, two tablespoons will create a cream, three tablespoons will produce a honey-like consistency, and four tablespoons will produce a pudding-like consistency.
Syrup consistency: 1 teaspoon (2.5 g of powder) per 100 ml of liquid at room temperature (20-22°C).
Cream consistency: 2 teaspoons (5 g of powder) in 100 ml of liquid at room temperature (20-22°C).
Honey consistency: 3 teaspoons (7.5 g of powder) in 100 ml of liquid at room temperature (20-22°C).
Pudding consistency: 5 teaspoons (12.5 g of powder) in 100 ml of liquid at room temperature (20-22°C).
Add the indicated amount of plain water (or liquid) per serving (if using tap water, boil for at least 5 minutes and let cool to room temperature) to a shaker/bottle.
Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Let thicken for 5-10 minutes.
Shake again and serve.
Consume immediately after preparation. Discard any remaining thickened product.

Use under medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
The maximum daily consumption should not exceed 40 teaspoons.

Conservation
It should be stored in a dry place and away from heat sources.
Shelf life after opening: 8 weeks.
