Alpha-lipoic acid (R-ALA, alpha-lipoic acid ) is an organic chemical compound that occurs naturally in human and animal bodies. Alpha-lipoic acid participates in metabolic processes. This compound can be synthesized by the body, but it can also be taken in the form of dietary supplements.

Each capsule of the ^Kenay® brand formula contains 300 mg of sodium R-alpha lipoic acid (R-ALA Bio- ^Enhanced® Na-RALA), equivalent to 240 mg of R-lipoic acid. The isolated R isomers of ALA are considered the most effective form of alpha-lipoic acid.

The recommended daily dose is 2 capsules, and a package of 60 pieces will provide one month of supplementation in the form of R-ALA.
