Characteristics of tea
A traditional medicine used as an auxiliary medicine for diseases of the upper respiratory tract and cough. Facilitates expectoration, dissolves and loosens mucus. The infusion can also be used for gargling. The medicine can be used by adults and adolescents from the age of 12.
Preparation and dosage
If the doctor does not prescribe otherwise: 1 teaspoon is poured with a cup (1/4 l) of boiling water and after 15 minutes of infusing in a covered container it is strained, the tea must not be boiled. It can be sweetened with honey. Drink warm 3 times a day. It is always prepared fresh, immediately before use. Use for no more than 10 days without a doctor's approval. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 5 days in adults and 3 days in children, see a doctor.
Contraindications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medicine. Pregnant and lactating women should not use the medicine.
Warning
If you have a fever, difficulty breathing, or purulent mucus while taking the medicine, consult your doctor. Due to the content of subwhite leaves, it is not recommended to take the medicine for more than 4-6 weeks a year. If you suffer from gastro-oesophageal reflux (the return of stomach contents back into the oesophagus, manifested by heartburn) you should not take this medicine as your symptoms may get worse. For gallstones or other diseases of the biliary tract, consult a doctor about the use of tea. We recommend the user to consult a doctor if the symptoms of the disease persist when using the traditional herbal medicine or if adverse effects occur that are not mentioned in the written information. In case of overdose or accidental ingestion by a child, also consult a doctor. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pack after 'EXP'. Return unused medication to the pharmacy.
