NatuGena Magnesium Malate & Glycinate contains two well-tolerated forms of magnesium. It combines magnesium malate and magnesium bisglycinate, which are particularly well absorbed by the body. Both compounds are water-soluble and suitable for people with sensitive stomachs.

Some of the magnesium is present as magnesium malate, in which the magnesium is bound to malic acid. Malic acid occurs naturally in the body and plays a role in energy production within cells. This combination with malic acid makes the magnesium well-tolerated and readily available.
The second component is magnesium bisglycinate. In this form, the magnesium is bound to two molecules of the amino acid glycine. This compound is also particularly well-tolerated and easily absorbed by the body. Glycine is an amino acid naturally produced by the body and performs many important functions in metabolism.
