The integrated wound pad consists of a rayon nonwoven absorbent pad suitable for absorbing wound exudate. The polyester nonwoven backing forms the stable support layer of the dressing. A silicone-coated paper liner covers the adhesive surface until application and allows for clean and controlled application of the dressing. The pre-assembled design allows for quick and easy use.

Instructions for use

Before applying the dressing, the skin around the wound should be carefully prepared. Remove the silicone-coated paper liner only immediately before application to maintain sterility. Place the rayon nonwoven absorbent pad centrally over the wound and smooth the dressing, with the polyester nonwoven backing side facing down, onto the surrounding skin. Ensure that the dressing is completely in place and that the wound is securely covered.

The MEDIPORE+Pad sterile wound dressing is intended exclusively for external use on the skin. Use the dressing only as long as the sterile packaging is intact. If the packaging is visibly damaged, the dressing should no longer be used. If unusual skin reactions occur during use, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist if necessary.
