Modulen IBD is a nutritionally complete and neutral-tasting powdered food.

Nestlé brand foods for special medical purposes are intended for the dietary management of Crohn's disease.

Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammation of the intestines characterized by diarrhea, abdominal pain, anemia, weight loss and malnutrition. A late complication of this disease can be colon cancer. Diet plays an important role in therapy.

Modulen IBD powder is used to induce remission in children and adolescents over 5 years of age with active Crohn's disease.

Indications:

• Food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of Crohn's disease

• To be administered orally or by gastric tube.

Ingredients:

How to use:

Recommended intake

Ready portion of 250 ml containing 250 kcal:

• 6 scoops of powder (50 g) + 210 ml of water.

Ready portion of 1000 ml containing 1000 kcal:

• 24 scoops of powder (200 g) + 840 ml of water

Do not change the proportions.

When using Modulen IBD, it is necessary to follow the method of preparation and consumption or medical recommendations.

Wash your hands.

Measure the appropriate amount of boiled water, cooled to room temperature and pour it into a clean container.

Measure the appropriate amount of powder using the measuring cup or scale included in the package.

Pour the powder into the water and mix thoroughly.

The finished product is best served cold.

Close the can tightly after each use.
