PROPERTIES Localized cutaneous treatment for Molluscum Contagiosum. HOW TO USE Warning: This product is corrosive. It is used as a cauterizing agent. Apply the solution only and strictly to the lesions to be treated. Carefully follow the instructions for use: The product should be applied once a day, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Repeat the application daily until redness, irritation, or inflammation appears at the base of the session, which usually occurs within 4 to 6 days. You should then stop the treatment and not apply it again to that area. Inflammation is a sign that the Molluscum Contagiosum is going to disappear, which will occur within 2 to 5 weeks. For lesions where inflammation has not occurred, you can continue applying it daily until it appears. Warning: Continuing treatment where inflammation or irritation has already appeared could lead to ulceration in the treated area. Do not apply the solution to the same lesion for more than 10 consecutive days. If you forget to apply it for one day, do not apply it twice the following day. Apply it again just once and continue until redness appears. The product must be applied by an adult. Children should not handle the product or touch it with their hands after it has been applied by an adult. STEP 1: Application: Unscrew the cap from the container and insert the applicator stick into it. Remove the now moistened stick and apply the product by lightly touching each lesion with the tip of the brush as precisely as possible (avoid touching the healthy skin around the mollusc as this will cause irritation). Caution: DO NOT allow the liquid to come into contact with healthy skin or any other surface (clothing, delicate surfaces, etc.) as it is a corrosive substance. STEP 2: Drying (Wait 1 or 2 minutes): Once applied by tapping with the brush, let the product dry for approximately 1 or 2 minutes. In the case of children, pay special attention to ensure that they do not touch the treated areas while it dries. STEP 3: Remove (Rinse): After drying, rinse the area with water (soaked gauze) to remove all traces of the product and wash your hands with plenty of water. Immediately stop treatment if irritation, redness or inflammation appears. The treatment will be finished and it will be necessary to wait a few weeks for the mollusk to disappear. It is important to avoid scratching or manipulating the treated lesions until the mollusk completely disappears in order to avoid superinfections. COMPOSITION 10% Potassium Hydroxide Solution
