Description
Triterpenoids give Reishi its specific bitter taste and participate in its function of stimulating natural defenses and immunity.
What is Reishi?
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is one of the wood-destroying fungi. It can be found on mostly dead tree trunks or stumps. Its fruiting bodies are semicircular and 6-12 cm in diameter and are characterized by their glossy lacquered coating, from which the Slovak name derives.
Interesting facts
It has a homeland in Asia, where it is also called the "divine mushroom of immortality".
It is a fixed part of traditional Chinese medicine, which has used it for more than 4000 years. Reishi (Ganoderma) is also mentioned in the basic work of Chinese medicine, the Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor. It was so rare then that it was meant only for the emperor and his family.
And it was not only used in Chinese medicine, but also as a powerful talisman for luck and protection against all evil. Monks in Taoist monasteries used Reishi (Ganoderma) before meditation for its ability to calm the Shen soul.
It is used by cosmonauts and Russian Sherpas at high altitudes in the Himalayas because of its ability to regenerate body functions and activate it .
What is Reishi good for?
- It can activate the body's immune reactions
- It contributes to maintaining the normal function of the circulatory system
- It helps to maintain a normal cholesterol level in a natural way
It contains many bioactive substances that make it completely unique:
In addition to vitamins and minerals, we can find in Reishi a large number of polysaccharides, beta glucans, ganoderans, but also steroids, cyclic esters of lactones, triterpenes, which include ganoderic acid, lanostan, etc. For our production, we use fruit trees aged 6-9 months. At this age, the concentration of active substances is the highest. In older mushrooms, the concentration of active substances gradually decreases, and the effect is not so effective.
Dosage:
- Increased dose: 3-10 capsules per day (it is advisable to consult a doctor or a practitioner of Chinese medicine)
- Usual dose: 1-2 capsules per day
It is recommended to take it 5 days a week and skip 2 days. Take the capsules on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal), drinking water or weak green tea. When using vital mushrooms, we recommend increasing the intake of vitamin C, which increases the absorption of active substances.
For example, in the form of an extract from the Brazilian Acerola cherry.
