Nestlé ^® NAN ^® Expert Pro AR is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of regurgitation. This powdered formula is intended for infants from the first day of life who, for various reasons, cannot be breastfed.

The specialized formula of NAN ^® Expert Pro AR contains L. reuteri bacterial cultures, which help reduce regurgitation. It is also thickened with potato starch and carob. This product is suitable as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 6 months of age.

Spit-up may primarily result from the immaturity of an infant's digestive system and resolves spontaneously as the child grows and develops, most often around 4-6 months of age. Especially in the early stages of life, infants may spit up small amounts of milk after feeding. However, in some infants, spit-up may occur more frequently. In such cases, a doctor may recommend medical nutrition.
