Non-sterile, 6-ply, binder-free non-woven compresses, packaged in paper bags of 200. These compresses are used for general wound care, wound cleansing, wound covering, and absorption of blood and bodily fluids. ^NOBATOP® 12 compresses are absorbent, breathable, soft, and therefore comfortable against the skin. They are intended for single use and must be sterilized before application to open wounds using a validated method (moist heat at 121°C/134°C, 2 to 3 bar, according to DIN EN 17665, radiation according to DIN EN ISO 11137, or ethylene oxide according to DIN EN ISO 11135).

Contraindications

No contraindications are known. The product should not be used in case of a known allergy to any of the µg components.

Normative and legal requirements

The nonwoven compresses are medical devices according to the German Medical Devices Act (MPG), Directive 93/42/EEC, and Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and are classified as Class I, Rule 4. The nonwoven compresses are tested in accordance with DIN EN 1644-1 and -2. The product does not contain any hazardous toxic substances as defined by REACH. It bears CE and DIN EN ISO 15223-1 markings on all packaging stages.
