When cleaning bridges, braces, implants and wide gaps, a porous wire is inserted between teeth and braces or into wide gaps using a reinforced end. By gently moving back and forth, the layer will be removed. The porous wire is passed through the normal wire section. It is carefully moved with regular floss below the gum line and the floss is wrapped around the tooth. Up and down movements remove the layer. When cleaning normal teeth, gently move the normal dental floss between the teeth and below the gum line. Cleaning is done below the gum line as above. A new section of dental floss is used for each tooth.
