Palmarosa essential oil (M - 1038), 10 ml, Mayam

It has exceptional antibacterial and antifungal properties, being useful in deodorants or preparations for the care of problem skin, scalp and feet. It is also appreciated for the effect of stimulating peripheral circulation and lymphatic drainage.
Palmarosa is a herbaceous plant originating in India, with geranium-like flowers, leaves and stems as thin as grass. It is harvested before the flowers appear, so the leaves give a higher yield for the extraction of the essential oil rich in geraniol.

Method of obtaining:
By steam distillation from the aerial parts of the plant.

Features:
Clear yellowish liquid, low viscosity.

Olfactory description:
Floral scent, sweet, pregnant.

Properties:

- hygiene and care of oily hair;
- in deodorants to neutralize unpleasant odors;
- for the preparation of compositions intended for lymphatic drainage and reduction of edema;
- in case of poor blood circulation;
- neutralization of the unpleasant smell in case of excessive sweating, including on the feet;
- to improve states of stress, anxiety, irritability, fatigue.

How to use:
- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations and compositions for aromatherapy;
- usual dosage recommended in cosmetic compositions 0.5-2%;
- as an ingredient for the preparation of creams, lotions, body milk, balms and ointments;
- as an ingredient in deodorants, foot cream;
- included in gels, creams, oils or lotions for facial and body massage;
- mixed with a vegetable oil, for aromatherapeutic massage on the abdomen or at the base of the spine;
- as an ingredient in shampoos, conditioners, masks and hair rubs;
- diffused in the air for aromatherapy;
- together with other essences with top, middle and base notes, to create liquid or solid perfumes (see thematic article).
