FUNCTION
It is especially indicated in cases where there is excessive formation of bacterial plaque that can lead to dental caries, in the prevention of acute and chronic gingivitis, as well as in periodontitis or rapid progression.
It helps maintain proper oral hygiene when brushing is not possible properly, whether due to oral surgery, orthodontic treatment, or bleeding gums caused by gum inflammation.
It works precisely in the interdental spaces where the toothbrush can't reach, eliminating the bacteria that cause dental plaque and protecting teeth and gums.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Use by adults and children over 12 years old.
Rinse mouth thoroughly twice daily for 30 to 60 seconds with 10 ml undiluted (fill the container cap to the dosage line).
After brushing your teeth, rinse your mouth with water to completely remove any remaining toothpaste before using mouthwash.
To prevent denture stomatitis, dentures should be washed and then soaked in the product for 15 minutes twice a day.
Children 6 to 12 years of age should not use the product unless advised by a healthcare professional.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
For oral use only.
Wash thoroughly with water if it comes into contact with eyes or ears.
Do not swallow. Chlorhexidine may leave a bitter taste. Do not rinse your mouth immediately after using the product, as this may increase the bitter taste.
If you use this product to clean dentures, first make sure that the inflammation is not caused by poor fitting of the dentures.
Stop using the product and consult a doctor immediately if you experience irritation or swelling of your lips, tongue, throat, or face, or if you have difficulty breathing. These effects may be symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, which is very rare.
After prolonged use, discoloration of teeth and fillings may occur upon contact with certain beverages and foods such as coffee and red wine, as well as tobacco. This discoloration is not permanent and can be largely avoided by brushing daily with conventional toothpaste before using the product, or, in the case of dentures, by cleaning them with a conventional product. In some cases, taste disturbances may occur, which diminish with continued use.
