The only non-active additive in Pure Encapsulations® Pregnancy Formula is a plant-based filler to preserve the formula.

Contains folate to help your baby develop optimally (*).
Folate plays a role in cell division and contributes to the development of the placenta and the growth of the uterus and breasts during pregnancy.
With zinc to contribute to normal fertility if you want to have a baby
Vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene) promotes skin health and visual acuity and is involved in cell specialization.
Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C and biotin support the body's energy metabolism and vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 and C help reduce tiredness that can occur during pregnancy and in the first months after giving birth.
Vitamins C and D, selenium and zinc contribute to a healthy immune system.
Iron contributes to the normal production of blood cells (red blood cells) and is essential for the transport of oxygen in the body. It also helps reduce tiredness.
Iodine contributes to the correct functioning of the thyroid gland and the normal production of thyroid hormones.
Magnesium contributes to normal mental and muscle function.
To support the desire to have children, a course of Zinc and Selenium may be indicated for the future father, which are known to support spermatogenesis.

(*) An additional intake of folic acid increases the mother's folate level. Low maternal folate levels are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. The consumer must be informed that the target population is women of childbearing age and that the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of additional folic acid of 400 μg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
