Properties:

• Fissures are cracks in the skin, usually very deep. They appear as a consequence of exposure to cold or skin conditions (psoriasis, eczema).
• They are usually located on the hands and feet and can be painful. The most affected part is the heel, because it is frequently exposed to shocks during walking or playing sports. Excess keratin is the cause of the crack that leads to the formation of the crack; through the opening formed bacteria can enter, the skin becoming vulnerable to infections; pain occurs, accompanied by bleeding.
• The treatment of cracks consists in the application to the affected areas of some preparations with a strong moisturizing action, mainly glycerolate of starch and urea.
• Moisturizing and emollient cream; favors the healing of cracks that form on dry skin (especially palms, elbows and heels).
• The bioactive complex (plantain and marigold extracts) has regenerating and cicatrizing properties, and the high starch glycerolate content ensures deep hydration.
• It forms a protective film that promotes healing without scabs.
