The ROSIDAL K short-stretch bandage is a compression bandage for the treatment of venous and lymphatic system disorders. It is used, among other things, for varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, deep vein thrombosis, and post-thrombotic syndrome. It is also suitable for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) stages I to III and for venous leg ulcers, provided the ABPI is greater than 0.8. With an ABPI of 0.5–0.8, use should only be under medical supervision. The bandage can also be used for edema such as phlebedema, lymphedema, and lipedema, post-traumatic and post-operative swelling, and during pregnancy.

Furthermore, the ROSIDAL K short-stretch bandage serves as a support and relief bandage for the prevention and treatment of contusions, sprains, tendon injuries, and dislocations. Its short stretch allows for targeted compression and stabilization of the affected area. The included pure aluminum bandage clips with elastic components ensure a secure hold for the bandage.

Application and instructions

The ROSIDAL K short-stretch bandage is applied professionally as a compression dressing for phlebological and lymphological conditions. It is used, for example, after sclerotherapy and venous surgery, as well as for various types of edema. Ensure the bandage is applied evenly and without wrinkles to avoid pressure sores. In the case of a venous leg ulcer, the ABPI value must be considered: Use is only recommended with an ABPI greater than 0.8; with a value between 0.5 and 0.8, use is only permitted under medical supervision.

This bandage is used as a support and relief dressing for the prevention and treatment of contusions, sprains, tendon injuries, and dislocations.
