Iprad Laboratories offer Medigyne, oral capsules based on microbiota.

The vaginal microbiota is a rich and complex ecosystem composed of microorganisms. After the gastrointestinal microbiota, the vaginal one contains the highest concentration of lactobacilli.
It is proven that there is a link between the gastrointestinal microbiota and the urogenital microbiota and that the lactobacilli that compose them pass naturally from one to the other. This is explained in particular by the anatomical proximity between the mucosa of the intestine and that of the vagina.

Medigyne is a food supplement that provides microbial strains (Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium) and vitamin D to contribute to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.

The capsules are gastro-resistant for optimal protection of lactobacilli during digestive transit.
