Suprasorb X is a moisture-regulating wound dressing for non-infected wounds. Thanks to the unique structure of its biosynthetic HydroBalance fibers, moisture is released to the wound or excess exudate is absorbed, depending on the wound's condition. This results in pain reduction for the patient without the need for medication and improves their quality of life. The elastic and structurally stable material of Suprasorb X allows for easy adaptation to any wound shape and depth, making it particularly suitable for hard-to-reach areas. Suprasorb X simplifies wound care through its wide range of applications and promotes better cosmetic results (scarring).

Areas of application:
For the treatment of non-infected wounds, whether they are low to moderately exuding and superficial or deep. Suitable for use on any wound bed (necrotic, coated, granulating, epithelializing).

Intended purpose:
HydroBalance biocellulose wound dressings/tampons promote wound healing by releasing moisture to and absorbing exudate from low to medium exuding, superficial or deep wounds.

Indications:

• Pressure sores
• superficial second-degree burns
• postoperative surgical wounds
• Skin grafts
• Split-thickness skin graft donor sites
• Abrasions, lacerations

Characteristics:

• Cooling Effect: fast and lasting pain reduction.
• Hydro Balance Effect: Independent regulation of moisture (donation and absorption).
• Washing effect: moistening and removal of dead epithelial cells.
• High wearing comfort thanks to its particularly soft and supple structure.
• Promotes wound healing.
• The porous structure is similar to the extracellular matrix of the skin (skin scaffold) and promotes the migration of fibroblasts.

Tip:
If the dressing dries out, it must be adequately rehydrated with an exposure time of at least 10 minutes before removal.
