Tanno-Hermal® bath and compress solution is intended for preparing compresses, rinsing and partial or full body baths. The synthetic tannin contained in the medical device has an astringent effect, which strengthens the skin barrier. The oozing, inflamed skin lesions are dry and a protective film is formed on their surface. Drying out the scabs deprives the bacteria and fungi of food, which helps stop the skin infection from spreading further.

Tanno-Hermal® solution is used in skin lesions such as atopic dermatitis and hand eczema. The preparation reduces itching, soothes irritated skin and allows its regeneration. It is especially recommended for use in hard-to-reach areas such as the buttocks, anus and genitals. It can be used to prevent excessive sweating and to support fungal infections, especially interdigital mycosis.
