Mouthwash indicated for the antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment of irritations of the mouth, gums and throat.

Mouthwash with anti-inflammatory action based on benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride.

It is used as an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic for mouth and gum irritation, gingivitis, and stomatitis. It is also recommended before and after tooth extractions.

How to use
The medicine should be taken according to the following doses and directions: rinse with 15 ml of mouthwash, 2-3 times a day, using the appropriate measuring cup. The product can be used, as needed, at any time of the day.

Use for a maximum of 5-7 days. For longer use, consult your doctor.

Overdose
Overdosage has never occurred with topical use of benzydamine and cetylpyridinium. Toxic manifestations of systemic benzydamine overdose include excitation, convulsions, sweating, ataxia, tremors, and vomiting. Symptoms resulting from ingestion of significant quantities of quaternary ammonium compounds include nausea, vomiting, dyspnea, cyanosis, asphyxia, CNS depression, hypotension, and coma. However, such toxic doses of cetylpyridinium chloride cannot be achieved even with the ingestion of more than 10 product packages. Since there is no specific antidote, treatment of acute benzydamine poisoning is purely symptomatic. Treatment of cetylpyridinium overdose is symptomatic.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, or are breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Tantum Verde Bocca should only be used under the supervision of a doctor.

Warnings
Use, especially if prolonged, of oropharyngeal preparations may cause sensitization. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor to initiate appropriate therapy. For athletes: the use of medications containing ethyl alcohol may result in a positive doping test within the blood alcohol concentration limits established by some sports federations. Tantum Verde Bocca contains hydrogenated castor oil-40 polyoxyethylene, which may cause localized skin reactions.

Expiration and storage
Check the expiration date indicated on the package. The expiration date indicated on the package refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly. Store in the original packaging to protect the medicine from light and moisture.

Caution: Do not use the medicine after the expiry date indicated on the package.

Composition
Active ingredient

Benzidamine hydrochloride 0.15 g (equivalent to benzydamine 0.134 g) and cetylpyridinium chloride 0.05 g (equivalent to cetylpyridinium 0.0425 g).
