Triphala is an Ayurvedic mixture of three fruits :

• Amla (Emblica Officinalis)
• Bibhitaki (Terminalia Bellirica)
• Haritaki (Chebula Terminals)

Amla (Indian gooseberry) – mainly works on the lungs, stomach, liver and heart. In Ayurveda, the sour taste of Amla is associated with Pitta energy and the fire element. Amla is a rich source of antioxidants, flavonoids and carotenes. It is one of the richest sources of vitamin C and has 30 times more than citrus fruits.

Haritaki (Harada) – has six flavors, with the predominance of bitter, which is related to the energy of Vatta and the air element. Fruits are a rich source of tannins, amino acids and fructose. It also contains succinic acid and sitosterol.

Bibhitaki (Beheda) – is sweet, bitter, astringent, astringent and warming. It mainly affects the lungs, heart and liver. It contains 35% oils and 45% proteins. The linoleic oil contained in it is the main fatty acid associated with increasing the level of the HDL fraction (the "good" cholesterol) and reducing the LDL fraction, which is considered a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease.

TRIPHALA is used in Ayurveda as a complete body cleanser.

Recommended daily dose : 1-3g, to be consumed during or after meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Use for several weeks to achieve the desired effect of improving well-being and health. The use of natural preparations provides a gradual but long-lasting effect.

Contraindications : not to be used by children under 12, pregnant and breastfeeding women.
