Ultra™ Plant Sterols from Vitabiotics contains 1,350 mg of beta-sitosterols, which corresponds to 1,500 mg of plant phytosterols (average for 3 tablets).

Lowering blood cholesterol levels
Plant phytosterols have been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels. High cholesterol is a common health problem because it is a risk factor for developing coronary heart disease.

1. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 1.5 - 3 g of plant phytosterols.
2. The development of coronary heart disease has many risk factors, and changing one of them may or may not have a beneficial effect.

Use:
TWO TO THREE TABLETS A DAY. Swallow with water or a cold drink. Do not chew. Do not exceed the recommended dose. It can be used together with other products from the Vitabiotics line. Regular use is recommended.

Dietary supplements cannot be used as a replacement for a varied diet. Remember about a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Patients taking medications to lower cholesterol should consume this product only under medical supervision. The food should be used as part of a balanced and varied diet, including regular consumption of fruit and vegetables to maintain carotenoid levels. The intake of added plant sterols/plant stanols in amounts greater than 3 g/day should be avoided.
