Arnica ointment 10% - For the treatment of blunt injuries

Blunt injuries disrupt the circulation of blood and tissue fluid under the skin and can sometimes be quite painful. Swelling (edema) or bruising (hematomas) may occur. Injuries without joint involvement are generally harmless and usually heal quickly and without complications. Weleda Arnica Ointment 10% is suitable for the follow-up treatment of blunt injuries such as bruises, strains, contusions, sprains, or hematomas, especially during prolonged healing processes.

Arnica montana

Its botanical name is Arnica montana. This robust plant grows primarily in the mountains of Central and Southern Europe. Its healing properties have been known for centuries. More than 150 constituents have already been identified in this member of the daisy family. Arnica promotes blood circulation and stimulates metabolism, thus reducing swelling more quickly. Through its regenerative properties, arnica has a structuring effect, supports the breakdown of dead cell material, and restores order to the tissue. This further promotes healing.
Weleda processes arnica into medicines that help the body to restore disrupted metabolic and formative processes and support skin and tissue functions in cases of blunt injuries such as bruises, contusions, sprains and crushing injuries.

Instructions for use:

Unless otherwise prescribed, apply to the affected areas of skin 3 to 5 times daily.
