For long-lasting relief from dry eyes

Xailin Gel is a multi-dose eye gel for long-lasting relief from dry eyes. The pack contains 10 g of sterile eye gel.

Carbomer gel is a viscous and hypotonic solution of 0.2% carbomer 980. Carbomer gel has excellent mucoadhesive properties and moisturizes the eye by evenly wetting the corneal and conjunctival surfaces.

Areas of application

For use as a moisturizing eye gel to relieve symptoms such as dryness, discomfort, grittiness and minor irritation caused by dry eyes.

Application recommendation

Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Remove the cap from the tube by lifting the tamper-evident tab on the cap and peeling off the cuff. Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a pocket. Hold the tube vertically with the tip pointing downwards and gently squeeze until a drop forms at the tip. Dispense this drop into your eye without touching the eye with the tip of the tube. Blink two or three times to distribute the gel evenly across the eye and wipe any excess gel from your eyelids. Close the tube, taking care not to touch the tip with any surface (including your fingers). Instill one drop of the product into the affected eye(s) three to four times daily, or as needed, depending on the severity of the symptoms and the level of relief. The duration of treatment may be extended beyond 30 days after consulting a doctor.

Warnings and precautions

• Do not use if the tube or safety seal is damaged.
• Do not wear contact lenses when applying the product.
• After instilling the drops, allow at least 30 minutes before reinserting the contact lenses.
• If additional local application to the eye, there should be an interval of at least 5 minutes between the application of the two products, with carbomer gel being the last product to be instilled.
• To avoid eye injury or product contamination, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the tube.
• Carefully replace the lid (cap) after using the tube; do not tighten the lid too much.
• Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
• For external use only.
• Occasionally, mild, temporary burning, sticky eyelids and blurred vision have been reported after instilling the gel.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store below 30 °C.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date or 30 days after first opening.
• If the problem does not improve within 2 days or worsens at any time, consult your doctor.
• If the problem persists for more than 30 days, consult your doctor.
