This means that our body digests this substance, but the amount of digestive enzymes produced for this purpose may be too small to immediately cope with a large portion administered externally. Therefore, the introduction of xylitol in your diet should start with small portions, about half a day. teaspoons of xylitol daily to reach the target portion after 10-14 days.

Consuming too much at the beginning of use may lead to mild diarrhea. Finally, Finnish scientists recommend taking about 40g of xylitol per day (8-10 teaspoons), however, birch sugar is safe regardless of the amount consumed.
