Mucovagin® is a medical device in the form of vaginal suppositories containing low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid.

The formula was developed for women suffering from intimate dryness.

Each suppository contains 5 mg of the valuable active ingredient.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural building block of the human body and can be found in all connective tissue. This ingredient binds with the moist vaginal mucosa, creating a gel-like coating on its surface, which acts as a protective barrier to protect the intimate mucosa. The protective layer of hyaluronic acid creates the right conditions for activating natural regenerative and defense mechanisms. This protective film restores natural moisture, facilitating and accelerating the healing process.

Mucovagin® vaginal suppositories are also recommended for women after gynecological procedures, including aesthetic gynecology.

The globules are free of hormones, parabens, plant oils and extracts, and fragrances.

Indications:

• Vaginal dryness and discomfort (burning, tightness)
• Discomfort during sexual intercourse
• For conditions of vaginal atrophy and dystrophy.

The globules support the maintenance of proper vaginal hydration:

• when using hormonal contraception
• during pregnancy and breastfeeding (use as directed by a doctor or pharmacist)
• during menopause
• before and after gynecological procedures and surgeries (including aesthetic gynecology)
• during and after oncological treatment.

Ingredients:

1 suppository contains

• Active ingredient: hyaluronic acid 5 mg
• Excipient: solid fat (semi-synthetic glycerides).

How to use:

• Mucovagin® globules should be used intravaginally
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the suppositories
• Standard therapy: It is recommended to use 1 suppository daily, in the evening before bedtime, or as directed by your doctor
• Adjunctive therapy: 1 vaginal suppository at night every 3 days, or as directed by your doctor.

Contraindications:

• Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
• No interactions with other medications or medical devices for vaginal use are known.

Warnings: 

• Use only as directed
• The product should be stored tightly closed, protected from light and heat sources, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C
• This product is intended for internal use only, locally in the vagina
• Do not swallow
• Avoid contact with eyes
• Discontinue use if an allergic reaction occurs.
