The glucometer only needs 5 seconds to measure and display the results that are at the level of a laboratory test.

• Automatic coding. Coding chip enables alerts for expired test. In addition, it automatically programs the meter and updates selected meter features as technological developments become available
• Test expiration warning. To ensure correct results, the glucometer checks the expiration date of the test through a coding chip and warns you when the tests are expired
• Dosing outside the glucometer. Applying blood to a test outside the glucometer helps to reduce the risk of contamination (for example in hospitals)
• Underdose detection. The glucometer signals the application of too little blood on the test and offers the possibility of redosing in 5 seconds1
• Visual check. You can check the result quickly by comparing the color on the test control window with the color scale on the test bottle label. Thus, you make sure that the measurement is correct
• Blood sample. Only 1-2 microliters of blood are needed for a blood glucose test
• Data transfer. The glucometer has an infrared port that gives you the opportunity to download the blood glucose results stored in the memory to a computer using the Accu-Chek Smart Pix device.
