Separate one suppository from the blister by cutting along the perforated edge, tear it by gently pulling the sides to remove the suppository. Insert the suppository deep into the rectum via the rounded end, it is advisable to adopt a slightly forward position. Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, it should be administered once a day, preferably before going to sleep.PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGSNo adverse effects have been observed in relation to its use. In susceptible individuals, it is normal to experience minor irritation of the skin of the rectal area such as slight itching or burning sensation. The suppository may cause a mild laxative effect. If you experience adverse effects, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated on the package. Due to its macromolecular structure, UniGel Procto does not penetrate the body, so the suppositories can be used by everyone, including pregnant and breastfeeding women. However, you should always consult your doctor first. If you suffer from rectal problems, anal hygiene and regular bowel movements are particularly important. For this reason, you should ensure you drink enough fluids, avoid spicy foods, and include an adequate amount of fiber in your diet. If the problem does not disappear within 7 days or worsens, consult your doctor.
