Royal Jelly contains mainly water, proteins and sugars, but also lipids, minerals and vitamins, as well as 10-HDA (10-hydroxydecanoic acid) and 10-H2DA (10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid) fatty acids. The main ingredient is apalbumin-1, present at 2.5% in Arkoroyal® Royal Jelly*. It is beneficial for bees thanks to its nutritional and antibacterial properties.
Royal jelly contains at least 100 times more apalbumin than honey. A larva fed exclusively on honey becomes a bee. Fed with royal jelly, however, the larva becomes a queen and lives up to 40 times longer than its peers. Although royal jelly was already consumed in all ancient civilizations, its properties have only been identified for a few decades.

Lactic ferments (once known as "probiotics") are bacteria or yeasts naturally present in the body. There are numerous scientific studies on their properties. The quality of the strains is essential: we must ensure that the bacterial strains are stable and that the storage and production conditions are optimal, as is the dosage, which is an important factor to take into consideration. The strains must be kept viable until the expiry date, thanks to optimized and reinforced packaging (protection from light and oxygen).
