Our naturally pure evening primrose oil, extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose (Oenothera biennis L.), contains the essential linoleic acid and at least 9% gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). This places evening primrose oil among the top-performing plant oils in terms of GLA content.
Essential fatty acids must be consumed in sufficient quantities daily through food because the body cannot produce them itself. The addition of natural vitamin E protects these sensitive fatty acids from oxidation.
