Sea turtles are perfectly adapted to life in the sea, with fin-like extremities, hydrodynamic shell and the ability to cross the ocean.
Returning to the beach, they make nests in the sand to lay many eggs, which they cover between 6 and 8 weeks.
There are seven species of sea turtles: six that have a hard shell from the Chelonid family and the leatherback turtles that are part of the Dermochelid family.
