Pure Vitamin C (or L-Ascorbic Acid) is a clinically tested 3-in-1 superstar ingredient that provides perfect protection against environmental damage (antioxidant), boosts collagen production and fades hyperpigmentation spots. This water-light formula contains 15% Vitamin C and additional antioxidants that provide a healthy glow and luminosity to the skin, while evening out the tone and firming the skin. The only downside to pure Vitamin C is that it is very unstable and difficult to formulate. This formula uses a low pH and added antioxidants to help stabilize the Vitamin C, but even then, C-Glow only has a 4 month shelf life. To ensure maximum product freshness, C-Glow is made in small batches once a week (on average, by the time a C-Glow reaches our customers, it is about 2-3 weeks past its date of manufacture, and we store C-Glow in coolers in our warehouses). STORAGE We recommend refrigerating it where it will stay fresh for at least 3 months (unopened, it will keep for a couple more months), while opened, it will keep for about 6 weeks at room temperature. WHO IS THIS RECOMMENDED FOR? Anyone looking for a lightweight, pure Vitamin C formula + an extra boost of antioxidants. However, if you have very sensitive skin that is prone to redness, we do not recommend C-Glow due to its low pH and high pure ascorbic acid content.
