APPLICATION
THE MENOPAUSE TEST is a rapid test to detect the hormone FSH in urine with a concentration of 25 mIU/ml or higher. Performing the test is very simple and involves placing 3 drops of urine in the window on the test plate and reading the test result within 3 minutes.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
Menopause most often occurs between the ages of 45 and 55. During this time, the production of estrogen and progesterone decreases, and the levels of the hormones LH and FSH increase. The principle of the test is based on the determination of the increased level of FSH hormone in the urine of a perimenopausal woman. MENOPAUSE TEST is a rapid plate test for the qualitative detection of FSH hormone in urine with a concentration of 25 mlU/ml or higher. The principle of the test is based on a specific antigen-antibody immunochemical reaction. The anti-FSH antibodies applied to the test strip during the production process react with the FSH hormone present in the urine.

Menopause means the last menstrual period in a woman's life, after which there has been no bleeding for 12 monthly cycles. This is an important event in a woman's life, the date of which can only be determined after some time has passed. Symptoms preceding the last period appear 2-3 years earlier and last for several years after menopause. This whole period is called menopause or menopause. During menopause, reproductive functions disappear and the ovaries stop working, which causes a decrease in the production of female sex hormones, mainly estrogens. At the same time, the production of the follicle-stimulating hormone FSH increases in the woman's body. Determining the FSH hormone level is helpful in diagnosing menopause.
