Hygienic, absorbent tampons are used in sick, incontinent patients, such as:

• protection for bed, trolley, chair, during procedures,
• supplement to disposable absorbent substances,
• as additional bed protection for patients with pressure ulcers, ulcerations or eczematous changes requiring the application of ointments and solutions.

Mode of use

The pad is laid on the bed and placed under the patient so that it can fulfill its function (either as a supplement to other absorbent aids in the case of incontinent patients, or as additional protection of the bed). If it stops performing its function, it is necessary to replace it with a new one. It changes several times a day or night as needed.
