Cross-linked hyaluronic acid, trehalose and liposomes with stearylamine.

TriMIX is an ophthalmic solution for protection, hydration and lubrication based on the sodium salt of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, trehalose and stearylamine in liposomes, formulated to restore the physiological properties of the ocular surface.

The combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and trehalose gives the product a high viscoelasticity, ensuring a high degree of hydration and permanence on the ocular surface, so as to alleviate the symptoms associated with dry eye and the resulting ocular irritation.

• Trehalose has stabilizing and protective properties of cell membranes, preventing protein denaturation and lipid degradation. It also has antioxidant properties and helps reduce inflammatory phenomena
• Liposomes are known for their soothing and emollient properties, as well as their ability to act as a vector, increasing the bioavailability of the substances they transport
• Stearylamine transported by liposomes due to its positive charge, allows better adhesion to the epithelial surface and helps inhibit microbial growth.
• The properties listed above make TriMIX an effective ocular surface protector that has antioxidant effects that contribute to the repair of ocular tissues damaged surgically or following trauma caused by mechanical, chemical or environmental factors.

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of dry eye syndrome and ocular irritation, caused by environmental or iatrogenic factors:

• ocular surgical interventions
• prolonged use of digital screens
• staying in air-conditioned or dry environments
• prolonged exposure to sunlight.

The product can also be administered while wearing contact lenses.

Ingredients:

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid sodium salt Cross Yall 0.15%, trehalose 3%, sterilamine in liposomes 0.25%, in buffered solution at pH 7.2.

How to use: 

Instill one or two drops in each eye one or more times a day or as recommended by a doctor.
