MCT Oil Unscented (473 ml) NOW Foods

NOW MCT Oil Pure is an odorless oil containing medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs)—fats naturally found in coconut and palm oils. They are digested more easily and quickly than other types of fats. They are absorbed directly into the liver's blood vessels and metabolized entirely by the liver. They begin to be broken down in the mouth by enzymes, and their complete breakdown is rapid and requires little energy.

Daily serving: One tablespoon (15 ml) once daily with a meal. MCT oil can also be used as a substitute for conventional oils in salads. It is not recommended for frying.

Precautions: For adults only. MCT oil may cause gastrointestinal upset. To reduce this effect, consume with food. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, taking medications, or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry, and dark place in the tightly closed original container. Once opened, the product can be refrigerated or stored at cool room temperature.
