ArtroCalcium

Calcium is an essential element for the body, contributing to the maintenance of normal nerve, muscle and heart function and playing a role in blood clotting. It is also present in the structure of bones and teeth, playing a role in maintaining their normal density.

Vitamin D facilitates the absorption of calcium and its deposition in bones and teeth (thus ensuring increased resistance of these structures) and is involved in phosphorus homeostasis. Vitamin D deficiency can cause bone disorders such as rickets or osteomalacia.

Copper plays an important role in the production of enzymes that protect the body against certain toxic substances (free radicals, cadmium), helps in energy production, contributes to iron absorption, and plays a role in the proper functioning of muscles, nerves and the immune system.

Magnesium has predominantly metabolic roles, being involved in the production and transport of energy necessary for various physiological processes. It is involved in calcium homeostasis and bone mineralisation, in which magnesium plays an active role, regulating calcium balance (by promoting its absorption and metabolism) and preventing its precipitation with the formation of stones (kidney, gallbladder). Zinc is a component of various enzymes that it activates, is involved in the synthesis of nucleic acids, has a regenerative role, has antioxidant action, strengthens the immune system, plays a role in adaptation to darkness and light, and eliminates excess copper and cadmium. Zinc: contributes to maintaining healthy skin, hair and nails, plays an important role in normal cognitive function and normal functioning of the immune system. The presence of zinc in optimal amounts in the body helps the normal metabolism of vitamin A. Vitamin A contributes to maintaining healthy mucous membranes and normal vision.

Manganese participates in the synthesis of collagen in connective tissues, contributes to the metabolism of carbohydrates and certain hormones, plays a role in maintaining the balance of neurological functions such as memory, and has antioxidant properties.

The recommended dose of ArtroCalcium is 1 capsule per day. The capsules should be taken whole with a glass of water, preferably with a meal.

ArtroCalcium forte meets the body's increased calcium and vitamin D3 requirements during growth or to supplement calcium and vitamin D3 deficiencies in the diet.

ArtroCalcium forte contains: calcium carbonate (active substance), pregelatinised starch and modified starch (firming agent), atomised lactose, microcrystalline cellulose and sucrose (bulking agent), magnesium stearate, medium-chain triglycerides and silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent), croscarmellose sodium (humectant), crystalline sodium ascorbate and DL-alpha-tocopherol (antioxidant), vitamin D3 (active substance).

ArtroCalcium is administered to adults and children over 12 years of age, 2 capsules per day.
The capsules should be taken whole with a glass of water, preferably with food.
